Аналізуються зарубіжні та вітчизняні науково-практичні дослідження стосовно електронної системи охорони здоров'я (е-Нealth) в країнах, що мають розвинену систему охорони здоров'я, та країнах, де система охорони здоров'я тільки розвивається. Розглядаються різні підходи до трактування терміна е-Нealth: від інструментів для полегшення доступу до медичної послуги для пацієнта до потужної системи управління медичною інформацією та розширення можливості публічного адміністрування цієї сфери. Визначається рівень довіри та сприйняття громадськістю різних елементів е-Нealth в різних країнах. Аналізуються ризики впровадження е-Health. Пропонуються шляхи впровадження е-Health в публічному управлінні охороною здоров'я в Україні.
