SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STATE IN PROVIDING SOCIAL PROTECTION OF THE POPULATION DURING WAR IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The relevance of the research is determined by the fact that the development of a modern state is impossible without the appropriate provision of social guarantees that will ensure the proper standard of living of the population. In addition, in recent years, a high level of social tension has been observed: war, a significant division of the population according to income levels, lack of stability, an increase in the retirement age, etc. – this requires the adoption of urgent measures, first of all, in the field of social protection of the population, which will increase the effectiveness of implementation social policy of the modern state and its stability. That is why the article analyzes various approaches to the concept and content of social responsibility based on foreign and domestic experience. An attempt was made to reveal the relationship between the social responsibility of the state and the state social policy in the field of social protection of the population. The relationship between state social policy and sustainable development is determined, taking into account the existing goals in the field of sustainable development, established and established at the international level. The possibility of adopting state minimum social standards as part of the social responsibility of the state, as well as the implementation of the social partnership model, was considered. It is emphasized that the establishment and observance of social responsibility, which will include legally established social standards and the adoption of an appropriate model of social partnership, will help to simplify the process of regulating socio-economic relations and the adaptation of the country's population to new challenges in the field of social protection at the state level. At the same time, all necessary measures implemented in the field of social responsibility of the state must be carried out only comprehensively, within the framework of constant interaction of state authorities and society, with the involvement of business and highly qualified specialists.
