Abstract

One of the consistent components of regional development is the presence of individual specialists and groups of professionals known as talents. This study explores the coworking model as hubs for talent pools, leading to higher work outcomes, the generation of ideas, and collaboration within the active community in work projects, concentrating talents in regional hubs. Thus, it is necessary to consider and analyze coworking as a business model for creative industries, acting as a "magnet" for talents at the regional level and as an instrument for shaping the urban portrait of the region. The study analyzes the types and directions of existing coworking activities, examines methods of attracting and retaining talents in coworking, and assesses the value of such a model for regional development. The contextualization of coworking spaces as (local) talent concentration centers is achieved by studying how they typically construct their identity. As a result of the study, an analysis of the existing coworking model was conducted, an overview of the main typologies of coworking in 5 countries was provided, and a structure for talent management in the coworking model at the regional level was proposed. The study investigated managerial practices and mediation methods, conducting further analysis of talent attraction and retention mechanisms commonly used in coworking environments that can be initiated and applied in public management.
