DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AS A FACTOR FOR IMPROVING THE NATIONAL SECURITY OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The article examines the issue of digital transformation as a factor in improving Ukraine's national security. It is emphasized that digital transformation is not limited to the application of technologies; it includes a culture change that permeates all areas of activity and a transformation in the management of diverse teams. Cost reduction (digital processing of documents aimed at general optimization of processes), distribution of production, increase in productivity and efficiency, operational and effective decision-making in real time, increase in environmental sustainability, production of environmentally safe goods, reduction in terms and costs of product development, improvement in quality products and prompt adaptation to changes in market conditions are only part of the benefits of digital transformation. Cyber security is one of the key aspects of national security in the context of digital transformation. Ukraine, like many other countries, faces cyber threats that can have serious consequences for national security, economy and social stability. The introduction of modern cyber protection technologies makes it possible to combat cyber crimes, cyber espionage and cyber terrorism more effectively. As a conclusion, it is said that digital transformation is a powerful tool for improving Ukraine's national security. The implementation of digital technologies in public administration, the military sphere, cyber security, and the economy contributes to increasing the efficiency and transparency of the work of state bodies, improving the country's defense capabilities, and strengthening economic security. However, in order to achieve these goals, it is necessary to ensure reliable protection of personal data and raise the level of public awareness of cyber threats. Thus, digital transformation becomes an important element of Ukraine's development and security strategy in the modern world.
