PROBLEMS OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE WORK OF DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS OF 6-10 KV CITIES
Abstract
Purpose. Substantiation of the of technical and economic factors influence on the distribution electric networks 6-10 kV efficiency of operation in conditions of urban areas. The scientific originality consists in establishing patterns between technical and economic factors influence of the cable lines’, switching and protective electrical equipment operation modes parameters on the efficiency of their construction and exploitation. The practical value is to reduce capital and operating costs for the urban distribution electric networks, provided that the parameters of the main elements are rationally chosen and their characteristics interact with each other. Findings. Analysis of factors that influence on choice of conductor elements in electrical distribution networks showed that the adoption of the rational cable size and the corresponding efficiency of investments in the electrical network substantially depend on the accuracy of taking into account the characteristics of the load parameters, network technical state and the functionality of switching- protective equipment.
