Abstract

The necessity of constant periodic monitoring of the pulp flow rate (two-phase mixture) during mineral processing is shown. The analysis of existing methods for measuring the flow rate of liquid and twophase mixtures, which are used or can be used in technological processes of mineral processing, is analyzed. It is found out that these methods, along with positive properties, have a number of significant drawbacks. These include such high price costs, insufficient accuracy and lack of experience in industrial use. A method is proposed for measuring the consumption of two-phase mixtures, eliminating the drawbacks of existing ones.
