LEGAL REGULATION OF THE PARTICIPATION OF NATIONAL RESISTANCE FORCES IN MILITARY-PATRIOTIC EDUCATION ACTIVITIES: THE EXPERIENCE OF ESTONIA

The purpose of the research carried out within the article is to study the experience of the Republic of Estonia regarding the participation of national resistance forces in measures of military-patriotic education. The relevance of the study is due to the need to improve the forms of activity of the national resistance forces of Ukraine and its participation in national-patriotic and military-patriotic education. The study pays attention to the participation of the Estonian organization «Estonian Defense League» (Kaitseliit) and its structural units in measures of militarypatriotic education and maintaining the readiness of the population of Estonia for defense. The research was conducted using empirical amd theoretical methods. In particular, the method of legal analysis was used to determine the specifics of the legal regulation of the participation of Estonian national resistance structures in military-patriotic education activities. The practical results of the participation of the organizations considered in the article in patriotic education measures were determined using the observation method. Determination of the possibility of introducing the Estonian experience into the activities of domestic components of the national resistance was carried out using the method of comparative legal analysis. The scientific novelty of the research consists in improving the understanding of the role of the national resistance forces of Estonia in measures of military-patriotic education and establishing the possibility of implementing such experience in Ukraine. The conclusions define the peculiarities of the legal regulation of the participation of the national resistance forces of Estonia in military-patriotic education measures, which include state support for the activities of voluntary territorial defense organizations and the creation of an appropriate regulatory and legal framework for their activities. Further research is possible in the direction of developing a legal mechanism for the introduction of Estonian experience into the activities of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine and youth organizations.
