THE IMPACT OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION ON THE PSYCHE OF THE ELDERLY WHO COMMIT CRIMINAL OFFENSES AGAINST SEXUAL FREEDOM AND SEXUAL INTEGRITY

Abstract

The article is devoted to determining the possible impact on the psyche of people of environmental pollution, and the relationship of this phenomenon with the crime of the elderly who commit criminal offenses against sexual freedom and sexual integrity. Highlights the need for a thorough study of this issue, and the definition of measures to prevent criminal offenses, taking into account the possible impact of environmental pollution on the psyche. The aim of the article is to characterize the possible impact of environmental pollution on the psyche of the elderly who commit criminal offenses against sexual freedom and sexual integrity. The realization of this goal involves solving such tasks as: 1) to determine exactly how environmental pollution can affect the commission of criminal offenses against sexual freedom and sexual integrity; 2) to analyze for a certain period the official statistics on the studied issues; 3) draw certain conclusions to reduce the impact of environmental pollution on the elderly. The scientific novelty of the article is that for the first time, an attempt is made to analyze the possible impact of environmental pollution on the psyche of the elderly in the commission of these criminal offenses. Proposals are made to reduce the impact of environmental pollution on the psyche of the elderly who commit offenses against sexual freedom and sexual integrity. As a conclusion, the article emphasizes that there is a certain negative pattern between ecologically polluted regions, regions and relevant regions, regions that have a high criminogenic status. Summing up, we can say that the environmental situation in Ukraine and in many places in particular, remains extremely difficult, the burden on the environment is only increasing. Pollution and depletion of natural resources continue to threaten the physical and psychological health of the population. Accordingly, it may motivate individuals to commit these criminal offenses.
